DAY 01 Arrival in Paro and Transfer to Thimphu +
Meet your Evara Travel guide at Paro International Airport and travel to Thimphu. After checking into your hotel, enjoy a relaxed introduction to Bhutan’s capital.
DAY 02 Discover Thimphu +
Visit the Buddha Dordenma, Memorial Chorten and selected centres for Bhutanese arts and crafts. Explore local life, markets and important cultural landmarks.
DAY 03 Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula +
Cross Dochula Pass and visit its 108 memorial chortens. Continue into Punakha Valley to explore rural communities, Chimi Lhakhang and the surrounding countryside.
DAY 04 Punakha to Phobjikha Valley +
Visit Punakha Dzong before travelling into the mountains toward Phobjikha. Explore Gangtey Monastery and enjoy the peaceful glacial valley landscape.
DAY 05 Phobjikha to Trongsa +
Travel through forests, mountain passes and traditional settlements to Trongsa. Visit Trongsa Dzong or the nearby museum, depending on arrival time.
DAY 06 Trongsa to Bumthang +
Continue into Bumthang, Bhutan’s spiritual heartland. Explore the valley and visit selected sacred sites while preparing for the festival celebrations.
DAY 07 Jambay Lhakhang Drup Festival +
Attend the festival at Jambay Lhakhang and witness sacred masked dances, ritual performances and local celebrations. Your guide will explain the stories and symbolism.
DAY 08 Festival Rituals and Fire Ceremony +
Continue the festival experience and attend scheduled ceremonial activities. The evening may include the sacred fire ceremony, subject to the official programme.
DAY 09 Bumthang to Paro +
Take a scheduled domestic flight to Paro, subject to airline operations and weather. If a flight is unavailable, the route and journey duration will be adjusted.
DAY 10 Tiger’s Nest Monastery Hike +
Hike through pine forest to Taktsang Monastery, dramatically positioned on a cliff above Paro Valley. Finish with an optional hot-stone bath or relaxed farewell evening.
DAY 11 Departure from Paro +
Transfer to Paro International Airport with assistance from your guide and depart Bhutan with memories of Bumthang’s sacred traditions and remarkable landscapes.
