The Nabji Korphu Trail is a lower-altitude community trek through six rural settlements in the southern region of Trongsa and Jigme Singye Wangchuck National Park.
Walk through subtropical forests, farmland and culturally important villages while experiencing daily rural life and community-managed tourism services.
The region supports golden langurs, rufous-necked hornbills, orchids and diverse subtropical vegetation. The route also follows traditions connected with Guru Rinpoche’s journey through central Bhutan.

Meet your guide in Paro and travel through the river valleys to Bhutan’s capital.

Preparing for the Community Trek
Lower Altitude
The route generally remains between approximately 1,000 and 1,700 metres.
Warm Climate
Conditions are warmer and more humid than Bhutan’s high-altitude trekking routes.
Community Services
Local communities manage camps, meals and selected services along the trail.
Wildlife
Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed, but the region supports golden langurs and rich birdlife.
Recommended Season
The trek is especially suitable during the cooler and drier months from autumn to early spring.
